Here are some pics of the 5 acres outside Toledo (east of Newport) that we went to look at. The property itself was beautiful, and has awesome potential if you were to build a new house in a different spot where you can view the gorgeous hills around. Currently that area is a motorcross track...There was room for a big shop, that already has gravel laid down as well as an RV hookup.
But the existing house is just insufficient for us, and it would take too much money to make it livable for us and then to build another house. There was one closet in the whole house, therefore, the second room wasn't really a second room (that would be the stellar pink room). The living room has a cheesy church rec hall feel to me...shudder...
We have also looked at some new ocean/hill view lots in South Beach (south of Newport) that have quite good prices for a chance at an ocean view. We just took a peak really quick, on our way hiking, so there aren't any pics. If we go back to look and get more info, I'm sure the camera will come with!

Wow in some ways this place sounds like it has awesome potential, but I get why you are not going after it.
An ocean view place sounds pretty cool...you'll have to show me around the areas you've been scouting when I come up there later this week!
Can't wait to see you and Ty! Sure hope the weather is okay...I would love to get Aubrey in one of her bathing suits for the first time! :)

It's hot today!!!! And Grampy just repainted the deck! Okay, so "hot" in Newport is like 68, 70 degrees...but on the deck it feels much warmer than the number...
