When I had Tyler I got a letter from the Multnomah County Library that said my baby and I were always welcome at the library, and a free book.
When I went to sign up for a library card in Newport, I got rushed out when Tyler started getting fussy at the end of my filling out paperwork. Sigh.

They rushed you out? How rude! Don't give up on them though, maybe it was a one time thing and you just encountered a grouch. I love the library! Non-stop free books, yay! I hope they are nicer to you next time : )
Now I just need to make it to story time!
