1 Year!

Our little man that constantly makes engine sounds, and pushes anything and everything around like it has wheels spent his first birthday in the perfect place...at a racetrack.

Tyler's birthday overlapped the Chump Car race at PIR (Portland International Raceway) so Tyler got celebrated Halloween at the track with friends, a little more on Sunday (first mac and cheese!), and a little more when we got home!

Tyler dressed as...what else? A race car driver for his first Halloween. Accompanied by his pals Ava (monkey) and Colton (clown) the kids went trick-or-treating around the race track as the race was stopped for a Halloween interlude just for everyone's kids! We then blew out a candle on his star-shaped gluten-free brownie, which he took a few minutes to try, but then loved! To cap it off, all the drivers sang happy birthday to our little car fanatic :)

What a crazy, quick year it has been! It is absolutely amazing the amount of development made in one short year. Today Tyler took two steps, although they weren't together! He has five teeth, is learning to point, and has his own versions of "milk" "dog" "kitty" "meow" and "nana" (banana, aka all food). He now likes to sit with you and flip through a book, especially "Old MacDonald." Tyler loves dancing around the room to music, being flipped over, tickled and hugged.
