Christmas is Coming!

A few weekends ago, a famous college football game(for this state) was played. And two Updenkelder men were in attendance. So because we got left at home, Grammy and I decided to take matters into our own hands and get us a Christmas tree! Now we didn't do anything as amazing as Sarah, actually cutting it down herself, with Ava, with a good sized baby belly in the way. We went to a tree lot...but still, we walked and contemplated the pros and cons on several trees before making our final selection. Tyler had a blast running around through all the rows of trees, getting some cold, crisp air in his lungs.

The tree fit in the trunk of Grammy's car and rode quite close to Tyler, but he managed to keep it together despite some branches in his face.

This tree is beautiful, and the *perfect* height for the living room. Tyler really loves looking at all the ornaments, and certain ones have needed witness relocation to prevent them from constantly being pulled from the tree. It is so fun to see how much more Tyler "gets" Christmas this year!
