It was so abnormally beautiful last month…the kids and I snuck in a beach/nature walk day. Tyler even insisted on hopping/running his way across this little inlet. It wasn't deep or fast, but it's a little scary to watch your 5 year old across the water from you. But I decided to try and let him have a bit of freedom! And boy did they enjoy throwing rocks into the water and watching them splash!!!
